From time-to-time, the carrier's processing of terminating an employee's coverage is not completed in a timely manner. Since there is a limited time frame to make adjustments to a bill (depending on the carrier), it is the responsibility of the employer to notify Polestar Benefits (whether on the Basic or Advanced plan) if the request to terminate coverage has been processed within 60 days. It is also the employers responsibility to notify Polestar Benefits within 30 days of a Qualifying Event.
